Senior Business Analyst, Salesforce

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst and Salesforce administrator to join our Engineering team to support our Capital Formation department. The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce, along with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex data. As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our fundraising efforts by managing our Salesforce platform and providing technical support to our Capital Formation team. You must be able to partner effectively with all levels of the organization, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems, and make challenging decisions.

About the role:

• Work cross-functionally with internal teams and technical partners to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions and implement those changes as appropriate
• Collaborate with Capital Formation and other internal teams to identify key data points and develop reporting solutions
• Administer and configure Salesforce to meet the needs of the Capital Formation team
• Manage Salesforce data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and workflows to support fundraising efforts
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of data and reporting across the organization
• Develop and implement best practices for using Salesforce to support fundraising activities
• Train and support Capital Formation team members on how to use Salesforce effectively
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce and related applications
• Monitor Salesforce performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain and modify custom flows, workflows, approval processes, custom settings, validation rules, fields, page layouts, and record type to build out and improve internal processes

About You:

• Strong technical skills with experience in Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, workflows, and reports
• Familiarity with data management and reporting best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Passionate about the Salesforce platform and enjoy working with multiple business stakeholders to solve complex challenges

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably with experience supporting Capital Formation, Sales or Revenue teams
• Proficient in Salesforce architecture, LWC, Lightning UI, Web Service and Visualforce components
• Knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, and declarative customization
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes and best practices
• Salesforce Certifications such as Administrator is preferred but not required

Compensation range: $90,000 - $125,000 with 10 % bonus
